Volkswagen Unveils Enhanced 2022 Jetta and Jetta GLI

2022 Volkswagen Jetta

New for 2022, the Jetta is powered by the same 1.5-liter turbocharged engine found under the hood of the VW Taos. That engine pumps out a mighty 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque — impressive figures for a compact sedan. The 2022 Jetta also has a new trim level — Sport — to replace the R-Line model. The Jetta Sport is designed to offer sleek styling and performance-focused features at an affordable price point. Standard features on all 2022 Jetta models include Volkswagen Digital Cockpit with 8-inch display, Volkswagen Car-Net®, new wheel designs, rhombus cloth seats, autonomous emergency brake, and blind-spot detection.

2022 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

The 2022 Jetta GLI retains the same engine from the 2021 model: a 2.0-liter mill that produces a whopping 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It has a new honeycomb grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, red crust seating accents, haptic touch steering wheel, IQ.DRIVE® driver assistance technology, wireless device charging, and a BeatsAudio® premium sound system.
