Here at Lewisville Volkswagen, we’re always looking forward to the next exciting thing that VW has to show off. The latest thing to catch our attention is the Atlas Cross Sport GT Concept, which the automaker revealed recently. This specially tuned version of the Atlas Cross Sport shows that the SUV can be as sporty and athletic as the brand’s performance sedans are.

The Atlas Cross Sport GT Concept started as a 2021 Atlas Cross Sport SEL Premium R-Line model that was built over in Tennessee at Volkswagen’s Chattanooga plant. After its initial assembly, the crossover was meticulously tuned and upfitted by a team of modification specialists.

Sporty additions to the SUV include 22-inch wheels, Yokohama Advan Sport tires, and XTA plus 3 Coilover Kit from ST Suspension, front performance brakes, and even specially branded springs. You’ll also notice the attractive look the Atlas Cross Sport GT Concept has Eisvogelblau-color exterior paint and gloss black trim. This wasn’t an overnight achievement. The entire process took multiple months to complete.

This one-of-a-kind version of the Atlas Cross Sport isn’t available for purchase by the public and won’t enter production, but you may be lucky enough to see the SUV when it tours the U.S. — perhaps it will pass through the Dallas-Fort Worth area near Lewisville.
