Volkswagen Jetta Named Great Car for Recent College Grads

The Volkswagen Jetta was named among Autotrader’s top 10 Great Cars for Recent College Graduates, further establishing the popular sedan as an excellent, budget-friendly daily driver.

According to Autotrader, a car must offer stylish looks and high-tech features to appear on its annual list. It also must be affordable and have a combined fuel economy of at least 30 mpg — something the Jetta manages easily. The 2021 model, for example, gets up to 41 mpg on the highway.*

The publication specifically recommended the Jetta from model years 2016 to 2018, which are nearly as efficient. “The 2016 model year is a good spot to begin your search because that’s when the Jetta got a standard touch-screen infotainment system and USB port plus a new turbocharged base engine,” explained the Autotrader editors.
