MIB3 Infotainment System | Lewisville, TX

For the 2021 model year, the Volkswagen lineup is getting a tech upgrade. VW is introducing its new MIB3 infotainment system, which is available in the latest Atlas, Passat, and Tiguan models at Lewisville Volkswagen.

The new MIB3 system comes with multi-phone pairing capabilities, advanced voice recognition software, and wireless App-Connect. All models equipped with MIB3 will come standard with an illuminated USB-C input connector.

If you listen to satellite radio, you will love the new SiriusXM with 360L system that is part of the MIB3 interface. This new interface delivers both satellite radio and streaming content, including more than 10,000 hours of on-demand content.  Each 2021 model comes with a three-month trial to this new service.

Another connected update for the 2021 model year is a new Travel Assist feature. This offers a partially automated hands-on driving experience. It uses the Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist systems to help you steer, accelerate, and brake. The system adapts to traffic flow and uses lane markings to keep you on track.

A new safety feature for 2021 is Emergency Assist. This feature can help bring the vehicle to a complete stop if you become incapacitated. It monitors your attentiveness while you drive by checking your hand input on the steering wheel. If it does not detect any input, it will try to alert you with audible and visual warnings. If you do not respond, it will slow the vehicle to a stop in your lane.

These are some of the great additions coming to the 2021 Volkswagen cars and SUVs at Lewisville Volkswagen. Buy or lease one of these new models to get the latest VW tech features in Lewisville, Texas.
