Depending on the trim level you choose, the Tiguan will come with either an 8- or 10.25-inch touch screen display. This will use the modular infotainment system, called MIB3, which features easy smartphone pairing for multiple devices and input via natural voice commands. The standard Volkswagen Digital Cockpit will let you customize the display to choose what information you want to see while driving.
Engine details
The Tiguan will come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood that’s rated at 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. This motor is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission for refined efficiency. Volkswagen engineers said they adjusted the engine software to make it more responsive than previous versions of this engine.
